On September 9, the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement serving in Italy held important community celebrations.

Brother Alfonso DeRuvo, SA, was conferred to the ministry of acolyte, while Brother Fabrizio Szymanski, SA, renewed his temporary vows. The celebration took place during morning Mass at the Chapel of the Convent of the Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement in Assisi.

Brother Alfonso had renewed his vows earlier this year, on February 5, in Rome.

Likewise, Brother Fabrizio renewed his promises as an Atonement Friar. He received his habit on September 5, 2021 and professed his first vows on September 10, 2022.
