During Vespers on Friday, September 8, Father Vitaliy Perih, NSA, began his Novitiate with the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement.
The clothing ceremony and Evensong was held at the Chapel of the Convent of the Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement in Assisi. Father Vitaliy has been assigned to the Friars’ formation house in Assisi for his Novitiate.
Father Vitaliy celebrated his entrance into postulancy earlier this year, on Laetare Sunday, the Fourth Sunday in Lent. A native of Ukraine, he has been engaged in both Italian parishes and the formation of other seminarians in his country.
