The Friars honor St. Anthony each June with a celebration at Graymoor, where thousands flock to for a day of pilgrimage and prayer. On Sunday, June 12, the Friars will hold the first large scale in-person celebration since 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic.

The numerous recent acts that destroy human life, especially in its innocence, call us again to join Christ in His prayer that “all may be one.”

Deacon Tom Rich, TSA. D.MIN., J.C.L's relationship with the Society of the Atonement began in his youth. He brings a wealth of experience to his new role, as well as fresh ideas for the retreat center. He is hoping to put those ideas into practice.

Father Jim Puglisi, SA, attended this year’s workshop, which was held May 3-6 at Christ Cathedral in Orange, California. The workshop kicked off a busy month of May for Father Jim, who will be participating in many more ecumenical activities.

She’s the friendly voice you hear greeting you on the WHUD morning radio show and on Thursday, May 12, she will once again be the Master of Ceremonies at the 13th Annual Sunset on the Hudson cocktail party.

On Sunday, May 1, Christ the Redeemer celebrated its 50th anniversary. The Friars helped found the Church in 1972, and spent 46 years of ministry at the parish. There, they facilitated countless sacramental rites and taught Servant of God Father Paul Wattson’s message that all may be one.

The Friars gave updates on restoration projects across the Holy Mountain and the state of their ministries.

Centro Pro Unione, Rome’s ecumenical research and action center and a ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, is now taking applications for its summer course.
