Join us in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 16, 2022 for the inaugural event in our Fr. Drew Christiansen Holy Land Lecture Series. The first talk, “Being Church in The Land Called Holy,” will feature Sami El-Yousef, CEO of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. He will speak about the presence, aspirations, challenges and contributions of the Church and its institutions. Mr. El-Yousef had a 24-year career in academia and has worked with humanitarian causes in the Church.
Through this series, we will gain a deeper understanding of how to assist our brothers and sisters in their quest for acceptance, equality, justice and peace. We will explore the spiritual roots and practical application of our Faith through the eyes of those whose experience is rooted in the land where Jesus was born, taught, died and was resurrected. Come for a unique perspective on what is asked of us as Christians, and leave with a refreshed view on how true charity looks in the Catholic life.
