Dear Friends in Christ,

We are praying for you!

The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented and challenging times in our world. Now, more than ever, be assured, we continue to hold you and your loved ones, as well as all of our brothers and sisters throughout the world, in prayer during these frightening days.

Even in our darkest hours, our Lord is there for us. May we continue to turn to Him in these times of great need and find comfort in His presence.

As we are complying with the New York State mandate to have our Friars remain at home in the Friary and our dedicated employees work remotely from their homes, we are doing our best to continue to be available for our dear benefactors, retreatants and other friends. You can reach us through this website and limited telephone access. It may take us a little longer than usual to respond to your messages and requests for religious items, but we are doing our best to continue to be available for you.

To share with you during our quarantine, on this website, you will find a Virtual Mass video, various audio prayers and links to listen to hours of re-released Ave Maria Hour radio dramas of bible stories and the lives of saints. You can also follow us on Facebook.

Our Holy Father, Pope Francis has placed the world under the protection of the Blessed Mother in this time of crisis. Please join us in praying for all of God’s children in our world-wide family as we ask our Lord Jesus Christ and Our Lady of the Atonement to watch over and protect us!

You are in our prayers,

Franciscan Friars of the Atonement

  1. Thank you for your prayers for us. Graymoor has always been a special place for us & our family. Stay safe. Be healthy. God Bless you all.

  2. I was raised by my grandmother, Maria, for whom I am named, and I remember fondly her devotion to St. Anthony and to Graymoor. I remember her leaving in June with other seniors on a bus from CT. to Graymoor to celebrate St. Anthony’s feast day on the grounds of Graymoor. I would worry about her until she returned, and she always came back glowing with fervor and love thanks to you. She always returned joyous after a great day of worship there. Thank you and God Bless you.

  3. Thank you for having the Mass live on Facebook. It helps so much to feel closer to the Eternal Light.

  4. Thank you so much for praying for all of us, dear Franciscan Friars of the Atonement. Last Thursday (April 16th), my doctor called with my test results: I have COVID-19. Please pray that the Lord won’t allow it go to to my lungs, and that He heals me completely, so that my healing can be a testimony to His amazing Love for me. Thank you.

  5. Thank you for your prayers and concern during this difficult time in the whole world
    God bless all the friars.

  6. Thank you Lady of Atonement, protect our Friars and our beloved Holy Mountain of Fr. Paul!

  7. Thank you.
Your messages and prayers are uplifting and most important in this trying time.
