Philip Santiano is discerning a call to become a Franciscan Friar of the Atonement, while living and praying with Friars at Our Lady of the Atonement House of Discernment in Manhattan since October 2018.

On New Year’s Day, Fr. Tom Orians, SA, traveled to the Great Buddha Hall of the Chuang Yen Monastery in Carmel, NY. to participate in an Interfaith World of Prayer for Peace sponsored by the Buddhist Association of the United States. His remarks below reflect the charism of unity that is so central to the ministry of the Friars:

7,000 enthusiastic young adult Catholics descended upon the city of Indianapolis from January 3-7, 2019, and Friars of the Atonement were there to meet them.

“What is God’s Plan for your life?”  This is an important question for us all!  Eight young adults gathered for a retreat at Graymoor from December 7-9, 2018 to explore this very question of God’s call for their lives.

We are excited to share this letter that was received by our Friars in October. With grateful hearts, we offer prayers of thanksgiving for this healing.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Br. Gregory Lucrezia, SA. Br. Greg passed into Eternal Life at 8pm New York time (2am Rome time, Friday Dec. 7).
