On Thursday, August 14, we welcomed nearly 240 women for the 3rd Annual Women’s Day at Graymoor. The atmosphere was filled with energy and gratitude as women came together in prayer, fellowship, and celebration.

Women participate in the butterfly remembrance and Circle of Reflection activities at OLA.
Morning Activities and Fellowship
The women gathered first at OLA where they enjoyed a light breakfast, participated in a few activities including writing the names of the women they wanted to honor or remember on our butterfly display, writing their prayer petitions on the boards for the Circle of Reflection, and participating in a survey to help Mission Support select the 2026 designs for the Spiritual Enrollment Program. The women then proceeded to the Pius X building where a path of paper butterflies greeted and led them to the dining room. They enjoyed a delicious lunch and ate cupcakes donated by our friends at Homestyle Bakery.

Shared joy and fellowship as women connect during the afternoon session at Graymoor.
Afternoon Inspiration and Celebration
At 1:00 pm, Kacey Morabito-Grean inspired them with the “Thankful for Our Gifts” activity. There was singing, dancing, and laughter. Johnny G the DJ further inspired us with Shania Twain’s “Man, I Feel Like a Woman.” A special announcement was made by Lisa Quist, inviting all the women present to be the very first members of the Graymoor Women’s Circle. This membership allows the women to visit Graymoor at any time and invite others to accompany them to the Holy Mountain. The day concluded with Fr. Emil’s lighthearted comments. It was truly a joy to welcome so many inspiring women. We are grateful to everyone who joined and made the day so memorable.
