Fr. David Poirier, SA, in his new role as Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) Promoter participated in the Catholic Social Ministry Gathering in Washington, D.C., from January 25-28.

The Friars of the Atonement celebrated the 2020 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (January 18-25) and its theme of “unusual kindness” on the Holy Mountain of Graymoor and at their parishes and ministries worldwide.

During a celebration of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, the Friars honored the hometown of Servant of God Fr. Paul Wattson, SA, with a gift of a statue of Our Lady of the Atonement.

Father Edward F. Boes, SA, a Franciscan Friar of the Atonement, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

Best-selling author Mary Higgins Clark passed on January 31st at age 92. Celebrated the world over as “The Queen of Suspense,” Clark was no less prolific in her good works.

On October 9th, His Eminence Nathanael Symeonides presented The Ecumenical Value of Reflection on Moral Discernment at the annual Paul Wattson Lecture in Chicago.
