Fr. Tom Orians, SA, shared the charism of Fr. Paul and the Atonement Friars with many individuals and families at “The Fest” in Cleveland. The Fest is an annual Christian family festival that hosts thousands of visitors, providing a day of music, prayer, fun, and encouragement for families as they live out their vocations.

This is the 5th year that the Friars have participated in the Fest, setting up a booth to talk with those who might be discerning a religious vocation as well as to introduce people to the Friars generally. Fr. Tom shared that it is a great opportunity to not only meet new people, but also to build lasting relationships.

While the Friars have a special place in the heart of those in the local Hudson River Valley, they believe that the mission of unity and “At-one-ment” is meant for everyone. They share this charism through parishes, ministries of the Friars, and ecumenical efforts that take place around the country and the world. Events, such as The Fest, are additional opportunities to tell others about the great work of Fr. Paul and invite them to learn more about the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement.
