Unions Gather at St. Christopher’s Inn for an Impactful Visit

On Thursday, August 7, St. Christopher’s Inn welcomed several unions and organizations for a day of learning, connection, and support of the Friars’ healing ministry.

 

Welcoming Unions and Community Partners

On Thursday, August 7, St. Christopher’s Inn welcomed several unions including the Steamfitters, Sandhogs, Iron Workers, and local operators as well as the members of Con Edison, The No Matter What Foundation and the Seafield Sober Houses. The visit underscored the growing recognition and support of the Friars of the Atonement’s healing ministry, St. Christopher’s Inn.

 

Exploring Programs of Hope and Healing

In addition to learning more about the Residential Program of the Inn and how it could support members needing substance use disorder services, they had the opportunity to also visit San Damiano Farm where they witnessed first-hand one of the many vocational therapy programs available at St. Christopher’s Inn.
