In the wake of the tragedy that has struck Turkey and Syria we continue to be saddened by the rise in the number of lives that have been lost or broken. The Friars and Sisters of the Atonement throughout the world, along with our leadership team and staff, unite in prayer for the souls who were lost, and for those facing unimaginable suffering due to these devastating earthquakes.

We are proud to support the Catholic Near East Welfare Association with a grant from the Union That Nothing Be Lost as it works to deliver aid and help in any way they can and we encourage Christians around the world to join all faiths in prayer that hearts would be opened to helping support the brave men and women responding to the crisis.

May God’s hope and light rise out of this tragedy, and may we be always reminded that God has come to reconcile and make all things new.
