Advent Reflections – by Fr. Bob Warren, S.A.

We are at the end of Advent, a time of waiting. How was it for you? Did you wait patiently? Did you listen carefully? Did you pray thoughtfully and watch closely?
It is just as your parents taught you: Good things come to those who wait!

On Christmas Day we will celebrate the greatest event in history, God becoming human. Christ gave up heaven and became human for you. He would have done it for you even if you were the only person in the world. He was born for you! If you are that important to Him, the least you can do is not only live, but live for Him, and let Him live through you.

Wishing you a blessed Christmas.

  1. Thank you.. and I pray for all of you who help so many. I welcome your prayers especially for my daughter who is on a feeding tube and Homeless this Christmas.. it is devastating that I cannot find her and help her.. I trust God is with her and she finds a place out of the cold of Iowa. I trust God to help her find shelter and care, I trust God to help me cope with this situation.
