Sister Peggy Murphy, O.P. has worked in the fields of Counseling and Education in New York City, Puerto Rico, Orange and Sullivan Counties. She is a New York State Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Sister is presently a Professor Emerita of World Religions at Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh and has served as the Co-Director of Contemplative Outreach of Orange County, New York.
