Introduction to Ignatian Prayer Retreat
Saturday, November 14| $50
Ignatian (Jesuit) spirituality is a practical spirituality for everyday life. Together, we will ask: “What do my desires tell me about God’s will? How can we say that God is ‘in all things’ when the world is so broken? Is it possible to become a contemplative while leading an active life?” Those who are already familiar with Ignatian spirituality will also discover something new, as we explore how it relates to everything from neurology to art to….circus clowns. Our day begins at 9:30am with Coffee, includes lunch, program and concludes by 3:30pm. The cost is $50 per person.
Presenter Nicholas Collura. Nicholas Collura studied film and literature at Yale University before earning a Master of Divinity and training in spiritual direction at the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. A former Jesuit, he now works as an interfaith palliative care chaplain and is a visiting retreat director at St. Raphaela Center in Philadelphia. His website is www.nicholascollura.com.
