The successful Catholic Literature and Arts Summer Program (CLASP) started by the Capuchin Youth and Family Ministries makes its debut on the holy mountain, Aug. 8-14. Students, ages 5-18, are invited to be part of original plays and a musical at Graymoor produced under the guidance of theatrical professionals who use their talents to share their Catholic faith. No previous theater experience is required to attend.
For high school students, 14-18, CLASP is a week-long sleep-away camp from Sunday, Aug. 8 – Saturday, Aug. 14. For students age 5-13, Junior CLASP runs the same week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning from 9-12 and Saturday from 8:30-10. The cost to attend CLASP is $400, which includes lodging and meals. The cost of Junior CLASP is $50.
CLASP students’ families and friends are invited to Graymoor on Saturday, Aug. 14, for Mass at 4, followed by a bring-your-own picnic at 5 and the world premiere of this year’s performances, which include Zaccheus, Bl. Carlo Acutis and Full of Grace, at 6.
