Join us for the 2021 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

Join the Friars and many faithful from Christian denominations around the world for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, January 18-25, 2021.  “Abide in My Love…You Shall Bear Much Fruit” is the theme for the 2021 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.  “Jesus gave his life for all out of his love for all,” said Fr. James Loughran, SA, Director of Graymoor Ecumenical & Interreligious Institute (GEII). “To abide in his love reminds us that we live in a community celebrating our gift of unity.”  The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity began as an eight day period of prayer called the Church Unity Octave at Graymoor and was established by founders of the Society of the Atonement, Mother Lurana White, SA, and Servant of God Father Paul of Graymoor. Find the daily prayers and obtain materials for this powerful week of unity and prayer here.

A welcome message from Fr. Jim Loughran, SA, Vicar General of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement and Director of the Graymoor Ecumenical and Interreligious Institute.
