The Come and See Weekend offers an opportunity for our guests to enter into conversations wih the friars to discuss their vocation journeys. This permits a man to get to know more about the friars and for the friars to get to know more about those men who are interested in our way of life.
During the course of the weekend, we also have group discussions about the initial formation program of the Friars of the Atonement and presentations detailing our understanding of ministry in the Church.
This weekend of hospitality, prayer, discernment, and fraternity is designed to reveal to the aspirant and the friars whether the aspirant is able to continue in the application process. During this vocation weekend, a man can come to see how we live, where we minister, and to pray with us. There is also time to meet personally with the Vocation Director and with other friars about our Franciscan Atonement way of life.
