FRANCISCAN
FRIARS OF THE ATONEMENT BENEFIT RAISES OVER $250,000
Over
300 attended the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement annual
Sharing Hope Dinner on October 10th at The Pierre in New York
City. The benefit, which raised approximately $250,000 this
year, honors those who have shown a commitment to helping
others and inspiring hope.
Anthony
J. Cernera, PhD, President of Sacred Heart University and
founder of the Center for Christian-Jewish Understanding and
Dr. Frank E. Lucente, of Garrison, Vice Dean for Graduate
Medical Education and Professor and Chairman of the Department
of Otolaryngology, SUNY Downstate Medical Center received
the Graymoor Award. Andrea and Renato Berzolla, of Riverside,
CT, received the Graymoor Community Service Award. V. Rev.
James F. Puglisi, SA, Minister General, presented the awards.
