Fr. Paul Wattson
Fr. Paul Wattson and visitors

Fr. Paul Wattson, our founder, was a visionary in his ability to use conventional and available means to communicate the message of the Friars of the Atonement to so many people that may never have had the opportunity to come in personal contact with Him or the missions and ministries of the Friars.

In Fr. Paul's time, he made use of a simple printed newsletter — delivered by the U.S. Postal Service — called, "The Lamp". Many were inspired by the written word that would come to them in the mail each month.

Today, through our website, we are so pleased that we can continue to communicate the Friars message in so many new ways:

  • Online printable copies of our Newsletter: Graymoor Today;
  • Access to Atonement Friars eNews — our monthly online e-newsletter;
  • Video links that allow us to share with you special seasonal messages, news about recent events, and archived content;
  • Weekly re-broadcasts on the Internet of the award-winning, long-running Radio show, "The Ave Maria Hour";
  • Online links to News articles from around the world regarding the works of the Friars of the Atonement;
  • The ability to stay in touch with you via online social networking sites such as Twitter.

We encourage you to bookmark this section of the site. And we hope you will visit it often as a place to find peace and blessing.

The good works of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement are supported by charitable contributions.
